So instead of trying to play catch up on Parker's pics for the last week, I'll just share a few cute stories!
Yesterday, Parker explained (in her own terms) the process of metamorphosis to her Daddy. (Her Granny and Poppa are raising butterflies.) She told him "Pilluhs (caterpillars) wiggle wiggle... sleepin'... buh-flies" In other words, the caterpillars wiggle themselves into their chrysalis, where they "sleep" until they emerge as butterflies.
When I went to get her out of bed the other morning... "Finished sleeping! Want out!"
Today in the car "Janee... Janee..." (I thought she was saying Jamie- her aunt). I said, "Aunt Jamie? What about her?" to which she replied "No... Mommy... Janee."
